Our foundation invests in Healthcare, Housing Insecurity, Families and Children, Mental Health, the Arts, and Jewish Life. We believe in the promise and importance of creative thinking, strategic partnerships, and strong organizations to help bring about change in people's lives.

We work closely with these foundations and non-profits to ensure our funds help better the lives of those in need.

Ted Slavin

"Our family recognizes that we have been blessed and are able to share our good fortune with those who need assistance to carry on.

I am delighted and very proud that my children and grandchildren are now serving as founding trustees of the foundation."

Born in the Bronx, New York, Ted Slavin, transformed humble beginnings into a remarkable legacy as a thriving entrepreneur and devoted philanthropist. After working as a box-boy at a grocery store to support himself, Ted enlisted in the US Army and served in Fort Linwood, Missouri. Although he initially pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education, Ted found success in the manufacturing industry and excelled in the merchandising business.

His entrepreneurial spirit led him and a business partner to establish "US Sales Corps," a small catalog sales venture focused at first on selling tools to mechanics and expanded through industries with time. The business grew exponentially, providing Ted with the means to support his family and embark on his philanthropic endeavors. Committed to giving back, he became actively involved in organizations such as the Jewish Federation, Crohn's and Collides, the Jewish Home, Yad Vashem, and Harvard-Westlake School, to name a few.

Since retiring in 2000, Ted has focused on enjoying the rewards of his labor while continuing his philanthropic efforts. His journey reflects the power of determination, compassion, and pursuing one's passions to create a lasting impact on society.
